Lead the design and evaluation of processes, testing, installation and maintenance of equipment involved in the safe, economical, and environmentally beneficial recycling of battery materials.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and specifying equipment and processes as well as developing and executing experiments to validate process yield, throughput, and quality.
- Design and specify equipment for the battery recycling manufacturing process at 100 Metric Tons per year.
- Perform laboratory testing of materials processing.
- Own and manage the operation and troubleshooting of prototype and production equipment.
- Lead the design and execution of experiments.
- Characterization and analysis.
- Troubleshoot equipment and software to repair and diagnose any malfunctions in the system.
- Monitor data and communicate with manufacturers of production equipment. (Mandarin language required, conversations often occur after normal working hours.)
- Prepare instrumentation diagrams, process control narratives, instrument lists, and input/output lists as part of project design and ongoing maintenance.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: $138,070 per year.
